Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has revealed that defender Levi Colwill was substituted for the trip to Leicester City despite the player being unwell before the game.

    The Blues won 2-1 with goals from Nicolas Jackson and Enzo Fernandez. But there was a point of concern for fans at the final whistle. When Colwill immediately sat on the floor and had to be checked on by the medical team UFABET  

    Before the game, the team had several injury problems. Including Pedro Neto and Malo Gusto, who were ill. Maresca revealed that Colville’s symptoms were similar to Gusto’s. But he was still on the field until the end of the game.

    “Like Malo in every way, he felt bad last night and this morning.” Maresca said. “But he was able to play until the end. Hopefully it’s nothing serious.”

    For Chelsea, they travel to Heidenheim in the Europa Conference League on Thursday, followed by a home game against Aston Villa in the Premier League next week.

‘Pedro, he had a problem with his international team. There was a chance he could be with us. But we didn’t take any risks for this game and hopefully he can be available for the next game.’

Chelsea are next in action on Thursday evening when they travel to German side FC Heidenheim in the Conference League. Before hosting Aston Villa in the Premier League next Sunday.
